Northern part of Maun outside residentia area along the Morem dirty road (about 150m from the road, with minimum visible disturbance). Mopane bushes of different age and size. Very sparce broad leafed plants with little or no grass cover. Mopane litter dominant covering most of the ground especially close to the trees. Soil was sand-silt (fine sand). The slope generally faced north-west, and few animal (cattle) tracks were visible. Mopane trees, few narrow animal tracks. not farming. |
