Rallia Dam is the main source of water for the Coonoor town and the nearby villages. It was constructed in 1914 in Nilgris District , Tamil Nadu; Mostly Sholas and grasslands with pine trees on the banks of the damn, Soil is moist in undisturbed site and dry at disturbed site.
